GISELA BRITTAIN
Bachelor of Science (Psychology), Master of Occupational Therapy Studies
Gisela graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Psychology and continued on in obtaining her Masters in Occupational Therapy in 2001.
She has over 20 years experience working as an Occupational Therapist and has worked in major tertiary hospitals in Queensland and the United Kingdom. She has extensive experience working with adults who have sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury and Stroke, and also with neuro-cognitive disorders (such as dementia). Her passion is enabling people to achieve their goals, and getting them back to activities that are meaningful and important to them.
Gisela is a registered Occupational Therapy driver assessor. She has a special interest in helping adults return to work and driving after a brain injury.
Gisela a member of the national professional association Occupational Therapy Australia and the Australasian Society of Study for Brain Impairment (ASSBI).
Gisela is FIM Accredited.
