Julie Newton graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from The University of Queensland. She has built a diverse career spanning rehabilitation, community, private, and not-for-profit sectors. With nearly three decades of experience, Julie has become known for her commitment to helping clients achieve their goals and celebrate their successes.
Her career began in rehabilitation, where she crafted personalised programs. She later transitioned to community work, providing care within aged care, and expanded her expertise in private practice, including working within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Julie has extensive managerial experience, having worked in leadership teams across a number of organisations.
Julie’s passion lies in working closely with clients to achieve their personal goals, marking each success with genuine enthusiasm. Her career is a testament to her commitment to client-centered care and professional excellence.
When not at work, Julie enjoys hiking, running, and mountain biking or spending time with her family and her rescued French Bulldog.
Julie is AHPRA Registered and Member of Occupational Therapy Australia.
